In Oaxaca’s indigenous communities, many women live in situations of economic dependence, limited educational access and deep gender inequality—factors that leave them especially vulnerable to gender-based violence.

this project aims to
Provide educational workshops that teach women about their rights and gender equality, helping them recognize and stand up against abuse. They also provide essential support services for survivors of gender-based violence. In addition, the program promotes economic empowerment by teaching practical skills that help women generate their own income. It also raises community awareness, challenging harmful norms that enable violence and inequality.
