Mitla – The Union of Art and Spirituality

Mitla – known as one of the most sacred archaeological sites in Mesoamerica. This handcrafted ring captures the intricate geometric patterns carved into the ancient temple walls of Mitla in Oaxaca, Mexico, bringing 1,000-year-old sacred architecture to your fingertips.

Spiritual Symbolism & Meaning

The Mitla ring represents:

  • Sacred Geometry: Universal patterns that connect the physical and spiritual realms
  • Ancestral Connection: A direct link to Zapotec temples and ancient wisdom
  • Life & Death Unity: Mitla's role as the threshold between worlds

In Zapotec cosmology, Mitla was the most important religious center – a place where the living came to honor the dead and where priests performed sacred rituals. The geometric patterns covering the temple walls are not mere decoration; they are spiritual codes representing the structure of the universe, the cycles of time and the journey of the soul.

The engravings on this ring are taken directly from the ruins of Mitla and crafted through the rare art of sandblasting technique, preserving every detail of this ancient sacred geometry.

Perfect for: Spiritual seekers, meditation practices, or as a wearable piece of ancient art and culture.
